- Premium Wildlife Photography -
Hello, my name is Ranger Lashley, and I am a wildlife photographer and videographer. I focus on capturing the beauty and authenticity of local and privately owned zoos and sanctuaries. Animals are essential to our ecosystem and, in turn, our life on this planet. Why did I choose conservation through photography? Well, photography and cinematography are two of the most significant and eye-opening ways to spread change for the better. Regarding getting "the perfect shot," I have found that horse cookies are key for many hoofstock animals like zebras and giraffes. Red and white meats work best for the more ferocious furry creatures.
A quick backstory on how I got here - In 2020, I did not know where my life was going. Fresh out of high school and in the middle of the COVID lockdown, I felt my life was falling apart with no direction or purpose. By the grace of God, I fell into a job as a tour guide at a small zoo in my town. Five years later, I now admire all things animal care. From hands-on husbandry to assisting in exotic veterinary procedures to picking up all types of animal waste, I've fallen in love with God's greatest creations. I aim to inspire awareness and action for conservation, one photo at a time. In other words, if I could do anything for our world, it would be to raise awareness of those who cannot speak for themselves.
